Jus had a great time in Chicago and loved Second City.
My weekend was pretty low-key but also great. Saturday my Mom & I went to an auction and I was able to scoop up these lovelies.
First I scored this awesome floral still life for $40. The original auction tag on the back says $125, not too shabby.
The colors tie the kitchen into the living room so well, I absolutely love it.
But the real deal was this drawing, I'm pretty sure it's done with pastels but seriously, how can you not love it?
I'm not gonna lie, I really think the period makes it, don't you?

Glad you had a good weekend, it's nice to have a low-key time every once in a while. I had a low-key weekend too!
so true. the period seriously makes the picture. i love using periods at the end of every little thing....no matter if it's an incomplete sentence or not :).
