Happy Valentine's Day, Valentine!

Happy Valentine's Day, darlings!

I hope that love is reigning over you today.

There are many stigmas that surround today: it's a Hallmark holiday; only couples celebrate it; it's a day for cheesy, mushy & gushy couples to make out in public.

I've never subscribed to any of these thoughts, though. Yes, I love Jus with all of the mushiness & gushiness that is in my body but I also think that Valentine's Day is a day to think about everyone you love. Love is so universal and can be felt in so many ways that it seems silly to only celebrate romantic love on Valentine's Day. Jus loves me but the rest of my heart is full of love from my family & friends.

Just in case you don't have a Valentine today Happy Valentine's Day! Thank you for being in my life and for making me feel loved each & every day.

So grab yourself some chocolate, champagne & flowers; make yourself a bubble bath; and dance around your living room in your prettiest dress cause you are loved!

And just in case you were wondering where all of the mushy, gushy love for Jus check back later.

What a sweet post! And I love that photo - so fun. :)

I've always enjoyed Valentine's Day as well. I'm sad we can't really do anything this year, because in the past we've made it a priority. Alas, you really can't argue with 12 hour shifts and midterms.

I've always liked this day as well.

To be totally honest, my favorite V-Day was my junior year of HS when my friends and I were all single. 2 girls from our group made each of us boyfriends in a box and delivered them to us. They came with profiles of our boyfriends, a fake diamond ring, chocolates, a rose and more. It was adorable as so darn sweet.

Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's! Fiancé and I don't really celebrate it (yes we're one of those anti-Hallmark-holiday whiney pants couples).. but I still love all things Valentine's and love related ;)

And I could realllly go for some chocolate right about now, heh!

What a great way to think about it! I'm going to start following that line of thought. :)

So very true. The only Valentine that's ever been a constant in my life is my mom. She always makes sure she does a little something special for me on this day, and I always love seeing the little gifts she comes up with.
