Renovation Lesson #108

Sometimes things don't go as you've planned.

Like when your husband spends a month & a half hanging drywall and after you texture the walls you go to paint and the paint starts cracking.

Then you have to scrape all of your new paint off.

But next time you'll remember that it is essential to prime the walls after texturing the walls and before painting.

OH NO! Lesson learned, i guess. That is a very good color. I like that you can add any variety of texture and color schemes to it! Keep up the good work!

Eek, how annoying. well, lesson learned indeed.

does scraping off the paint ruin the texture of the wall?

OH NO!
Our bathroom paint is peeling but it's because he mixed water/oil based paints. Not such a good idea.

Oh that is awful! I'm so sorry. Even though things don't work out all the time, I'm sure your home is going to be SO beautiful when you're all done!

Sorry to hear! I had a similar experience. I never know primer was important until I had to start all over again. Good luck :-) xoxo

Oh no! I'd be so annoyed. Kind of a fun design that the chipped paint made on the wall though, hehe.

My absolute favorite was the French Mademoiselle Dress!!! It's gorgeous!!!! I live in Puerto Rico so I can start wearing these dresses like right now, so I'm definitely looking into ordering one!
