Because I'm tired of talking about it. But we can't stop because we still don't have a contractor. It's proving tough to find someone in our price range that's ready to get to work.
The last time I blogged about our kitchen it looked like this.
And now it looks like this.
Yup, it's got more walls.
The downside of opening up three rooms to make one kitchen is that we took out some of the support for the second floor. In order to remove the rest of the walls we had to build support walls and put in a support beam.
Jus finished the beam last week and now it's time to take down the walls and have one big, open room.
Now if we can only build up the courage to tear out the walls.
