Babymoon Recap

I've decided to power through and just have one recap of our babymoon. Jus & I are terrible at remembering to take pictures so you'll have to forgive me for the lack of pictures.

We flew out of Chicago last Saturday and arrived in Ft. Lauderdale hours after we were supposed to. The first three days we stayed with family & spent time relaxing.

Tuesday morning we woke up and headed to the Florida keys. We stayed the night in Key Largo then woke up and finished the drive to Key West. We spent 3 days in Key West eating, walking around, looking at architecture, visiting Ernest Hemingway's home, seeing the sunset at Mallory Square and enjoying some Jus & Cole time.

If you've never been to the keys I highly recommend that you take the trip we did. It's lots of fun and Key West is a wonderful place to loose yourself. If you have any specific questions let me know.

Gorgeous! You look so happy.

I haven't been to the Keys since I was three - it's safe to say my memory of them is...not great.

What a wonderful babymoon! You made me laugh when you warned you hadn't taken many photos–I think I have all of a dozen from our last vacation!

ALABAMA JACKS ON CARD SOUND!!!!!!!!

That is my FAVORITE place in all of the Keys and I'm not sure its even in Marathon County. Their Conch Fritters are the best in the world (and this girl has eaten a ton of fritters). I am so jealous of your PLATE of fritters. Delicious! I've been going to Alabama Jacks since I was a teeny girl and I still plan all my keys trips around it!

AND ROBBIES FISH CAMP! I love feeding the Tarpon! My favorite part is making someone feed them who has never seen a Tarpon before and watching them get scared.

Okay, crazy Old Florida Girl freak out sesh over. Sorry about that. But this is the real Florida to me and so few tourists get to see this side. So glad you were able to!!!
