Nursery: Where we started

We've been working to get the Behemoth finished before LBL arrives. There are some big projects, like the kitchen, and some smaller projects, like decorating the nursery, but we're ready to have the house finished and have it be a place that's safe & comfortable for our little family.

When we first bought the Behemoth I knew that the room across the hall from our bedroom would become the nursery. Unfortunately I knew that it needed quite a bit of work as well.

When we bought the Behemoth the nursery looked like this.

Dingy carpet, wallpaper stapled to the walls and glow in the dark stars all over the ceiling.

We painted the room Valspar's Cinncinati Hotel Blue & turned it into the guest room where my little sister, Banan, was a frequent guest.

We knew that when it was time to turn the guest room into a nursery we'd keep the room the color it was since it was fairly childish & gender neutral.

Little did we know that the guest room would be turning into a nursery much sooner than expected.

I'm super excited to see what you do with the room, you have a really great artistic design... I'm sure LBL will have a fabulous bedroom!! :)

I have a feeling it's a boy.
