I hope you had a wonderful weekend. We were able to spend time with friends Saturday and spent Sunday at Jus's parents eating chili and watching the Oscars.
I'm not going to go into a full recap of the Oscars as I'm sure they'll be all over but I approved of the winners, I thought Anne & James were boring, and I loved Mila's & Natalie's dresses.
While this weekend was great this week is even better.
Remember when I said we had really exciting news around here?
We do, and it all has to deal with the love of my life.
Jus starts a new job today. Nine months since he quit his terrible, uninspiring job Jus goes back to work for a small company with a guaranteed promotion.
I haven't written much about our financial situation of late and I won't start now except to say that these last few months have been really tough. After Christmas Jus stopped doing odd jobs to work daily on the Behemoth and money has gotten tight.
Now we'll be in a position where we can enjoy ourselves and afford to redo the kitchen at a faster rate. Plus Jus will be in a situation that will help him develop and will give him the satisfaction of having a set schedule every day.
I'm so incredibly proud of him (no matter what he does) and am thrilled that he will be happy.
I hope you have a fabulous first day, Jus! I love you forever.

I'm so happy for you two that Jus was able to find a job! We have, er, a tight situation as well, and R is starting a second job on Saturday to make ends meet. I'm both dreading it (less time together when we don't get much already) and relieved at the same time.
Oh, what great news! It makes life so much harder when money gets tight- and even worse when one person isn't in a satisfying job position. Hooray for Cole and Jus! :)

I completely understand being tight on funds.. we're hoping to move in the fall once our lease is up to a place a bit less expensive. While our apartment now is super convenient, it's draining our pockets slowly. Sucks!
Yay that is so exciting! I know all about money being tight so I'm sure it's a huge relief for both of you.

That is awesome!! Congratulations to you guys! A new job is so exciting and encouraging. My husband didn't have a job lined up before we were married until the week before our big day. What relief we felt. :)
