Vlog Friday: What's the Best Advice You've Ever Received?

Happy Friday darlings!

It's time for the weekly vlogging party hosted by Kate & myself. I'd love for you all to play along, and if you do please be sure to leave a comment so I can include a link to your post!

(Sorry about the awkward ending!)

Next week we'll be joining with the Vlog of the Month Club. If you're thinking of vlogging but are nervous to start the Vlog of the Month Club is a great way to test the waters! Click this link to join in on the VOTMC February fun!

Next week's prompt is: Show 3 things in your home that are *you*
(I took the description off of the VOTMC site because they're more concise than I am, I had to take some pain killers earlier and I feel like I'm Ramblin' McRamblerson)
Maybe they’re the things you’d grab (or wish you’d have grabbed!) if your house caught fire. Maybe they’re something someone made for you, or something you made, that just screams “you.” Maybe it’s your child or pet or significant other. Maybe it’s a photo. Or a childhood memento

Have a happy weekend, I hope you're able to dig out of the snow and enjoy your time off.

Also, be sure to sign up for the giveaway! It'd be awesome to have a post that received 100 comments and I'm only 12 away (plus, who wouldn't want a beautiful Murwati clutch?)

EDT: After watching some of the other vlogs this week I've realized that a lot of best advice came from moms. It's pretty awesome to see that all of the wisdom they imparted to us as children stuck with us and became important building blocks for who we are today. So thanks, Mom, you're the best!

Love this!

I'm trying to think of the best advice I ever received. I'm going to have to think on it a little bit more I suppose.

Happy Friday!

Mom's always have such good advice, it's true :)

And she gave you such great advice. I need to take that into consideration now, planning our wedding.

I finally got around to posting my vlog today.. was unsure if I'd have time but I squeezed it in this morning lol.

How to pick just one piece of advice? So much good stuff...unfortunately not all of it taken by me.

Have a great weekend!

Great advice! I love that it turned into metaphorical advice for both of you as the years went on. It's funny also that we all chose something from our early teens. It's quite an impressionable time, I do declare.

P.S. Thanks for the listing of words I say funny. :0) You've put my mind at ease lol.

I positively love that advice! Your mom is one wise lady. And I definitely want to join in on the fun now that I have already vlogged! Love it!

Pretty amazing advice. It was almost exactly something I was going to talk about- showing just how eerily similar we are. When do we get to meet for real style?

I love you oodles. That's all.
