Slightly Stylish: Fashion Roadblock

I've still been feeling stuck in a rut this week. The warmish weather makes me questions tights vs. sandals and dresses vs. jeans. I'm tired of wearing tights but my legs are white as a ghost.

I'm ready for some warmer weather and a new wardrobe.

Last Sunday I traveled to Indianapolis to celebrate my little sister, Banan's, last days of class and stop by some of our favorite places.

dress: urban outfitters belt: thrifted
cardigan & sandals: target

Monday we went to some more of our favorite places as well as a Restaurant Depot, think Sam's Club for restaurants, to pick up some things for my parent's restaurant. The scale of everything was wonderful and I made sure to grab some photos there. As soon as I saw this chambray shirt I knew I had to pair it with my striped skirt and was so excited to do just that!

shirt & boots: target skirt: forever 21
nude fishnets: kohls

I spent Tuesday evening on a shopping trip with a bride and wanted so stay comfortable as I knew fabric shopping would take us quite a while.

cardigan: target tank: old navy
leggings & necklace: jules boutique
belt: thrifted shoes: american eagle

On Thursday we celebrated Cinco de Mayo with friends and I thought it was the perfect time to debut the shirt I bought in Tijuana 3 1/2 years ago but had yet to wear. I constantly worried that the full silhouette of the shirt made me look preggers and I felt a little cliche wearing such bright colors on Cinco de Mayo but this outfit was too fun to turn down.

shirt: stand in tijuana cardigan & jeans: old navy
belt: target shoes: steve madden
poppy headband: much love, illy

And finally, Mother's Day was one of those days that I started out wearing boots, tights & a cardigan but made Jus stop so I could buy sandals because it was just too lovely. We spent time with both of our moms and hung out at my parents adorable cabin.

shirt: h&m shorts: american eagle
shoes: shoe show
(which is totally random since I never shop there, it just happened to be next to menards)

Are you ready to wear your summer clothes?
