Vlog Friday: What are you hopes/resolution for the new year?
Thank you all so much for your sweet comments over the last two days. I'll be back Monday with a continuation of the story, but for now it's back to Vlog Friday!
A couple of days ago Kate from Marshmellow Goodness and I got to talking about how much we missed Vlog Fridays and we decided to start again! If you're not familiar with vlogging Vlog Friday is a great way to get your feet wet. If you play along be sure to link up at the bottom of the post!
This year is going to be a big one for us and I have a lot of hopes for 2012.

Vlog Friday: What was your favorite childhood toy?
Happy Friday!
This weekend is going to be particularly busy as I'm decorating a wedding & Jus is planning on ripping out the second kitchen. My little sister, Banan, is planning on spending the whole weekend with us as well.
Thank you, thank you for all of your sweet words about last week's Vlog Friday. I promise, I'll try to get Jus in more Vlogs (I think he secretly liked it!) so you can see more of the man behind the blogger.
Growing up Banan & I were lucky kids, during our childhood we had a swimming pool, trampoline, horses, a barn swing and lots of other things to play with so toys weren't necessarily the first thing we went to, but I did have some favorites.

Vlog Friday: How do you overcome differences with your significant other?
Hello, hello!
Now that the fiasco with blogger is over and my blog is live again I knew I couldn't wait to post this week's Vlog Friday.
Jus & I don't fight very much, and don't have very many differences so instead of just me blah blahing about our relationship I thought it would be fun to have both sides of the story.

Vlog Friday: What was your best vacation?
Happy Royal Wedding Day, lovebugs!
I've been up since 4:30, drank a pot of coffee, and sobbed my eyes out at the beautiful wedding that took place this morning. To see a girl become a princess was truly the most magical moment you could have.
I also learned that Twitter has an hourly update limit which I hit during the ceremony. (BOO!)
So, onto this week's vlog Friday.

Vlog Friday: What's happens when I'm too sick to vlog
Hello my darlings.
We've made it to the weekend, are you excited? I am. It's supposed to be warm around here and I'm hoping to kick this cold to the curb and celebrate being healthy.
This week we're playing along with Vlog of the Month Club for Vlog Fridays. The prompt is to show who the real you is and while I would've loved to record & post my vlog the only thing I'd be showing is the real, sick, Cole. I'm coughing & sneezing & a little doped up on Nyquil so instead of recording a new vlog I thought I'd share a little project I've been piecing together with all of the outtakes from my recent vlogs.
I hope you enjoy!

Vlog Friday: What did you imagine your life to be like?
Happy Friday! I don't know about you, but I am so excited it's the weekend, this past week I feel like life has steamrolled me and I haven't been able to keep up. I know I've missed a ton of blog posts and I promise, I'll try to do a better job next week!
This weekend will be spent celebrating my wonderful mom. Today is her birthday and she deserves a wonderful day.
I'm incredibly excited about this week's Vlog Friday topic, I have a feeling my high school self & my current self would have one heck of a conversation about how my life has turned out.

Vlog Friday: What's the best lie you've ever told?

I hope you had a fun St. Patrick's Day and are ready to enjoy the weekend!
It's finally starting to feel like spring around here and that's just about the best thing ever.
So, I was pretty excited for this topic, I'm a terrible liar so whenever I'm able to pull one off I feel like I've really accomplished something.
After some comments in the last couple of weeks I've decided to add a link tool so if you participate in Vlog Fridays add your link!

Vlog Friday: What are your 3 favorite books?

I'm so happy for the weekend that I'm dancing around our room while getting ready. (Yes, we totally dance in our room, one day I'll show you)
This week's Vlog Friday prompt is close to my heart. I've told you before that I'm a big reader so when it came time for me to choose 3 books that are my favorite I had some trouble choosing just three. In the time since I've recorded my vlog I've realized that I totally missed the Poisonwood Bible, Number the Stars, and the Book of Bright Ideas to name a few, but if you really want to hear my faves you'll have to check out the vlog...

This year for Christmas Jus & I agreed not to spend any money on presents, as it turned out we both broke this rule but the best gift I gave Jus was a free one.
Our family friend is in charge of the local college run public music radio station and after some begging he agreed to give me a radio show that I could give Jus.
Since Christmas Jus has gone through training and tonight is his first show!

EDT: After watching some of the other vlogs this week I've realized that a lot of best advice came from moms. It's pretty awesome to see that all of the wisdom they imparted to us as children stuck with us and became important building blocks for who we are today. So thanks, Mom, you're the best!
